it’s never a good thing when, on your way to GO workout, you’re sore. and that’s what happened this morning. NOT a good way to start off with the MAX workouts! i was absolutely dying during this workout. now, this might be due to a couple reasons:
- the workout’s friggin difficult
- i played softball last night (game started at 8:50pm) – late night
- i only took in ~ 2000 calories yesterday
yeah, so the diet that was suggested to me, i tried. it was not enough and there’s no way i could keep that up for longer than a couple days before i, like every drastic diet change, fall back on the same old routine. a coworker expressed her concern (thanks Rose) for the extreme dietary modification and i shrugged it off for the most part. i had planned on giving it a go for the week and see how it goes, but not gonna happen. as a part of the Insanity package, i calculated the required caloric intake to maintain and that was ~3200/day. what i do plan on doing is eating more often and lesser quantities. and the bars that i made aren’t too bad, but i need more than just bars during the day.
the MAX workout today was insane and i just sat in a pile throughout parts of it. it did feel good to get that good of a sweat going – it’s been a long time since that’s happened for me. now, it’s time to recover for tomorrow’s MAX workout 🙂
